Introduction to Adobe Photoshop | Toronto Public Library

Adobe Photoshop is the world’s best imaging and graphic design software and is at the core of just about every creative project, from photo editing and compositing to digital painting, animation, and graphic design. And now you can harness the power of Photoshop across desktop and iPad to create wherever inspiration strikes.

Join us for an introductory lesson and learn about the most common tools. We'll explore the workspace and enhance images while investigating tools such as crop, levels, colour balance and more. See how an image can be altered and repaired using patch tools such as the clone and healing brush tools. We'll also dive deep into the world of layers and how you can manage them for those really unique and fun projects.

Note: you will need to have your own working copy of Adobe Photoshop for this class. The instructor will be using the Creative Cloud 2018 version. It is okay if you have a different version but there may be some small differences.

Space is limited and class information will be provided after registration. Register through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.ca/o/dih-online-30146452258
